FAQ   Frequently Asked Questions

ANSWERS:

1.

How do I care for my chocolates?

To maintain the fine flavor and freshness of your chocolates, keep them in a cool environment (60-70) and the freshness should last up to 1 to 2 months. If you would like to keep the product longer, and your box of chocolates has been opened, put the box in a sealed plastic bag, and place it in the refrigerator where it can be stored up to 6 months. Upon removing from the refrigerator, please allow the chocolates to adjust to room temperature overnight before removing the box from the plastic bag. To freeze the product, boxes can be doubled wrapped and sealed in plastic and frozen for 9-10 months. Thaw in the refrigerator before unwrapping to keep moisture or condensation off the chocolate surface. Premium chocolates are best enjoyed at room temperature.

2.

How can I tell what’s inside each piece of Esther Price candy?

Visit our Candy Key on the website to learn what’s inside each of our chocolate pieces before diving into the box!

3.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Our website provides a shipping map which estimates ground shipping time within the United States. You can have your chocolates shipped immediately or choose to delay the shipment. Please note that the date you select is the date the order will be shipped, not the date the order will arrive at its destination. In addition, Saturdays or Sundays are not included as shipping business days. During the summer months, we will not ship on Fridays to avoid chocolates being left in warm dock areas.

4.

Why does it cost so much to ship my chocolates to warm weather locations?

Because Esther Price chocolates are perishable and fragile, extra care is required when shipping your order. Special shipping boxes are used to keep products from being damaged. When shipping to warmer climates, cold packs are needed to prevent chocolate from melting; additionally, shipping will automatically default to overnight to prevent the cold packs from melting during lengthy transports. Our shipping costs take into account this special handling, as well as insurance and the best rates we can obtain from UPS and the US Postal service.

5.

How can I track my order shipment?

If you are shipping your order via UPS, your UPS tracking number will be in the email that you received as confirmation to your order. Go to UPS website to track your candy’s progress. Currently the US Postal Service does not have shipment tracking capabilities. You may contact our shipping department at any time to verify your order has been processed by calling 1-855-3-ESTHER or emailing us at: customerservice@epcandies.com
